Kitchen

When I moved in (Jan 27th 2011) I hated the kitchen knobs and removed them.
Enough is enough.

During the "X-Mess" break of this year my dad and I worked on part and finished it.

Here's what needs to be done:
- the kitchen sink isn't plumbed property, replace plumbing and add air vent
- replace sink and faucet

- oak cupboards painted white
- door and drawer pulls replaced
- backsplash tiled
- main light fixture replaced
- extractor fan removed and replaced with microwave/light/fan combo.

The specifics:
- 16 doors, 12 drawers
- approx 90sq feet of wall to be tiled

The materials:
- two boxes of white subway tile with snowy white grout
- primer (on sale oil based) and paint (Sico Furniture and Cabinets Interior Paint)
- 14 knobs and 12 pulls (from W&W Hardware, Kitchener)
- light fixture (from Restore Waterloo)
- IKEA microwave/fan/light combo (IKEA, etobicoke AS-IS section)
